Can the injection off cck during a hida scan be fatal or have any adverse effects on the body? thanks!

Almost certainly not: Since CCK is a substance your own body makes it is pretty benign, especially given in a one-time dose. It may give you a feeling of bloating for a few hours as it delays stomach emptying, but there are very few other effects from it that you will feel. I have never heard of any fatalities
