A member asked:

I guess i didnt ask the question right. what is articular sclerosis? does it involve the bones? muscles? can it be a result of trauma?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

"Sclerosis"?: "Sclerosis" is a term which refers to scar tissue or rigidity being produced by various causes. The term you may mean is "arterial sclerosis" or "atherosclerosis" which refers to the gradual rigidity produced in arteries or blood vessels by cholesterol deposits, leading eventually to diminished blood supply, and pain from lack of sufficient oxygen supply to muscles/heart.
