A member asked:

I'm fairly certain i have a uti (have had before). i'm in ca flying to nevada, can i get a ca doctor to prescribe antibiotics to pick up in nevada?

Maybe. Maybe not.: Medical licenses in the US are by state. Thus a doctor licensed in both California and Nevada would be able to send a prescription from California to a Nevada pharmacy. A patient may or may not be able to get a California paper prescription filled "nextdoor" at a Nevada pharmacy... not sure what the official rules on that are, but sometimes, patients have done that.
