I have a uti. doc said i am resistant to a number of antibiotics. prescribed the same one i am on for longer, even tho resistant. will that work?

Probably not: Sometimes an antimicrobial will work even if stardard sensitivities say resistant because of higher levels in the urine. But doesn't sound like it here. Do you know what the bug is and what it is sensitive to?
