What do your Drs say: There are crucial details left out. Cultures? Which antibiotics? Kidney or bladder? Stones? All 1 infection or several recurrences? Sexual context? Other medical issues? Obstruction to flow or nerve damage? Have a talk with your Dr until you understand the reason for this.

Needs review: To have this kind of trouble means you need specialist care. Some people have many UTIs related to structural factors, (fortunately your cystoscopy looked normal), hydration status (it's important to drink, drink, drink), hygiene issues (important to pee after sex for example), bacterial or other host factors. Hopefully you can see an Infectious Diseases specialist who may be able to help.

Bad sign: Blood in the urine is a bad sign. The causes are many. If the antibiotics have not helped a urine culture is essential. Further investigation such as cystoscopy is recommended, if not already done. If the bladder is normal on cystoscopy, then a CT scan of the kidneys should be done to make sure that there is no source of bleeding in the kidney
