Scaphoid Non-Union: A scaphoid fracture frequently goes on to non-union (or non-healing) because of the bone's poor blood supply. The scaphoid is an important bone of your wrist and if left un-healed it can lead to arthritis in your wrist. It is unlikely to heal without surgery.
