Can i know in more depth what is sciatica? i had it last year and 10 days ago i did heavy lifting and my right leg started to burn after one week

Sciatica: This refers to pain in the distribution of the sciatic nerve which typically has branches from the L3 to S1 nerve roots which come from the spinal cord. It is both sensory and motor hence pain and weakness can be seen. Typically any disc at L3-4, L4-5, L5-S1 can produce symptoms, foraminal narrowing can do the same.
