Hi i have smelly urine. ive had it for 4 weeks now. ive been to see my g.p and i was on antibiotics but hasnt worked. had urine test and swabs done. results come back clear. still have smelly pee.

What are you eating: Asparagus has a smelly substance called asparagene. Sometimes its what u eat like broccoli or asparagus that makes urine smell. Your diet may contribute. If you are getting a urine analysis make sure you get a culture to rule out an infection. Also consider if your smelling a yeast or bacterial vaginosis and not urine in origin. Hope this helps

Urine : If urine test and vaginal swabs are negative then urine can have a smell due to being concentrated , medications or consumption of foods like asparagus .
