My toddlers iron level at 9.1 and low hemoglobin consistently even although he eats a diet rich in iron and vit c. What can cause this?
I am working to improve my prior poor nutrition, my blood levels were low. Now, my hematocrit is normal at 38.3, but hemoglobin 12.0 (range is 11.5-15.5). Is my hemoglobin still on the lower end? Should I eat more iron rich foods to raise it more?
