Hemoglobin level : Hemoglobin level simply help detect anemia. Anemia can have many cause such as iron def anemia, B12 def anemia, etc. Pregnancy also associated with low hemoglobin level due to sharing of blood between mom and the baby. Pregnancy testing by blood is the standard test for confirming pregnancy. So a very low hemoglobin level cannot accurately predict pregnancy.
