I had a suspected early miscarriage 4 days ago & am waiting on ultrasound - is there a way for doctor to tell if i definitely did or didn't? (i didn't know i was pregnant beforehand - called doctor re symptoms & they suggested this was likely)

Early miscarriage: Sometimes a period delay will then result in an early miscarriage at less than 6 weeks gestation. An ultrasound can detect if the uterus is empty or still has products of conception present. A definitive answer would only be possible at this early stage if you had saved any tissue that was passed and it was sent to the Pathologist for analysis.
