Aripiprazole was treating my hyper sex drive excellently for years. then i switched to another brand of it and it stopped working! can a brand matter this much or what could be the explanation? (i am 10000% sure it's not psychological).

Discuss w/prescriber: It's not likely that the 'brand' would matter, but talk to the Dr about your experience. That drug often lowers libido but not always and not necessarily forever. For many patients with different reasons for taking it, it's an unwanted side effect and they are happy when it stops. There might be a drug w/ primary target of lowering drive (not just a side effect.) Ask the Dr - Best!
