Go up.: When the low initial (starter) doses of these medications fail to help in the long term, it may help to gradually increase the dose to increase efficacy and durability of benefit. It's not unusual for these low doses to lose their benefit in a few weeks, as you experienced. A higher dose may get your benefit back.

Check with doc: it is best for you to check with your doctor re. the dose adjustment. You'd not do it on your own unless instructed to increase the dose on your own.
