Difficult infection: C difficile can be a major and an aggravating infection! There can be resistant infections that can take weeks to finally resolve. Bowel infections may take longer to treat in the sense that they are no longer infected, but not yet symptom-free. Continue with plenty of hydration and fiber in the diet. Follow up with your Family Doc if you finish the Flagyl, but still feel sick!
