Steroid injection: You may a disease called dequervain's tenosynovitis. It is tedonitis of the wrist. It is common after pregnancy. I would try and see an orthopaedic surgeon, especially a hand surgeon. If this is in fact your diagnosis, you might be a candidate to a steroid injection.

Further evaluation: Since immobilization and nsaids have not helped. You should see either an orthopaedist or a hand surgeon. A steroid injection might be indicated. Sometimes surgery may be required to decompress the tendon.

Other injections: There are other injection options that have seen results. Prolotherapy injections into the injured soft tissues may help strengthen them and improve the pain. Prp (platelet rich plasma) which is taken from your blood, spun down to get the prp, and then injected into the injured ligaments. Good results are being seen.

Steroid injection : First of all, it should be diagnosed. Ultrasound examination will be the most appropriate. Steroid injection may help. Also prp can be useful.
