Unusual : It is very unusual to undergo a sinus culture especially with only five days of symptoms. Did your doctor actually insert a needle into your sinus cavity? If they just swabbed ur nasal cavity that is not a sinus culture and would explain the result. Staph Aureous without wbcs-inflammation is likely due to skin contamination and not infection. See ENT specialist given your chronic sinus problems.

Yes: First line of treatment usually is antibiotic therapy. Bacteria needs to be sensitive to antibiotic prescribed.
