Good question: allergy causes inflammation of mucus membranes /skin, this inflammation invites bacteria which colonize sinuses, skin and other areas causing chronic infection with frequent flare-ups, sometimes with the allergy there could be a subtle defect in the complex immune system which adds to the problem, you need to see a qualified allergist/immunologist for management,keep follow up with your doctor/ENT
