Should I be concerned if the skin around my bug bite is red and looks like a bruise but it is not itchy or painful?
I live in Great Lakes area in U.S. When outside near woods today, swarms of black bugs all over, many bites on skin instantly turned red, welts, itchy. Hours later, red spots and itching disappeared. Were these mosquitos? Or some other form of bug?
