hsg report fallopian tubes are opacified means?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Jeff Livingston
21 years experience Obstetrics and Gynecology
Clarification: You will need to get clarification on the findings. Opacification just means that the tubes were whited out. That is what one expects on an HSG. What you need to know is if they are patent (open). Contact the ordering physician and ask them to clarify the findings.
