I am an a-fib patient currently in normal sinus rhythm taking fleccanide, toprol, and lisinopril. now elevated heart rate up to 112. blood sugar 339.

The two: are most likely unrelated. If the rapid rate is IRREGULAR seek immediate attention you may be back in atrial FIB..If the pulse is regular..an adjustment in your medication (Toprol) may be indicated' Hope this is helpful! Dr Z

Any chest pain or: Shortness of breath??Call 911. That said,treat your blood sugar. You may also be dehydrated( osmotic diuretics)and need fluids. If blood sugar stays high, you must be seen by doc.
