The Knee: Cap and surrounding tissue has a large # subcutaneous nerves some of which may have been injured/cut at the time of your release procedure! While recovering there may be some "burning" which should diminish over the next several months! Apply ICE to NUMB the area as needed and follow-up with the Orthopedist who performed your Osteotomy!
