Sounds like: Description of disc rupture in lower back, worsened by sitting. Obviously, you are very uncomfortable & frustrated, but surgery is a very severe remedy, success may be minimal or even result in more intense problems. Stay conservative, and consider epidural steroid injection, osteopathic treatment, mckenzie back exercise program, and realize that disc may dessicate and shrink within 8-9 months.
