I am on 120mg duloxetine up from 60mg taken all in am i now feel overmedicated, my head is buzzing and my thinking is less lucid . would asking my dr to change to 60mg at am & 60mg at night help or would it not be worth taking at night as i sleep?

Splitting dose: Increasing the dosage of duloxetine from 60mg to 120mg was a large step, so you are probably feeling the effects from that dosage increase. I often have patients split the dosage once it's above 60mg. I usually recommend taking half of the dose in the morning and the 2nd half with lunch. Sometimes taking duloxetine too close to bedtime can affect sleep. But be sure to check with your own doctor.
