Duloxetine: a potent: serotonin/norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) antidepressant. Common side effects: dizziness, somnolence, fatigue. Response is individual but in general doses above 60 mg may not add benefit and time to response may take 2-4 weeks. Side effects often resolve within that time otherwise, if intolerable, dose reduction or medication change may be necessary. Inform prescriber. Best regards.
