Cymbalta (duloxetine): Although most patients report somnolence (drowsiness) with the use of duloxetine, some patients report insomnia, hypomania (the opposite of depression) or agitation. Call your doc: What you're describing sounds like hypomania. That's a side effect that can occur in some people with some antidepressants. You're taking what's called an snri. Did a psychiatrist give you that? If so, he can switch you to something tolerable.
