Flushed: Various factors can cause flushed feelings including anxiety,stress, certain spices,alcohol,heat, blood pressure or blood sugar swings, nicotine,overactive thyroid and certain medications, vitamin like niacin. Small capillaries dilate giving rise to flushed skin or a flushing sensation. Since you only note it in bed and there is no fever or sweats, I doubt a serious cause,but see your MD as needed
