Sleep: Pain in the back of the head needs to be evaluated by a physician, hopefully its only stress related but brain, muscle, skeletal causes need to be ruled out.

The stress & poor : Sleep could be contributing to discomfort. You may have tension in your neck & head muscles. One thing that you
can do to self-calm or reduce anxiety is deep breathing. Breath in slowly & deeply through nostrils. Fill you lungs with air & hold for a five count. Slowly exhale through open mouth. Don't focus on problems. Think only about your breathing. Repeat x 12 or until you are calmer. I >.

would also encourage you to consider cognitive behavioral therapy to help get better control over your anxiety.* Also make sure to use good sleep hygiene. Retire & rise same time each day. Keep bedroom dark & cool & use only for sex & sleep. Turn off tv. No naps. Exercise regularly but not in late evening. No caffeine for 6 hrs & no alcohol or tobacco w/i 2 hrs of sleep. Keep dinner moderate sized & finish at least 2 to 3 hrs before sleep. Can try warm milk, Chamomile tea or melatonin along w light reading, warm bath or lavender scent.
