No change: Care for the area the same way you that your dentist/surgeon told you when you got it pulled. Having dry socket doesn't change your post op care. Rinse with warm salt water after every meal and 2 or 3 extra times per day. As far as the white pieces you are seeing it is hard to say without seeing a pic. As long as the pain from the dry socket is gone, it should heal normally.
