Best stimulant featu: In single dose studies, Vyvanse did not cause any long-term side effects even at 250mg. Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) is a pro-drug. The med you take is inactive and should have little or no effect on you until it gets into your blood. Enzymes from red blood cells activate the med. Prodrug levels peak around 90min and active levels peak by 6hrs. It's all gone from your body by 48hrs.
