Viral illness: This may be a simple viral illness with fatigue and generalised aches and pains or a more systemic illness involving muscle inflammation. A full history and examination is required to reach a proper diagnosis. Please see a doctor if symptoms are not resolving or improving

Good idea: Because some cardiac problems can cause similar symptoms, it would probably be a good idea.

Needs examination: Depends on your age and your general health. Occasionally this can be an atypical presentation for cardiac disease so it would be a good idea to get examined urgently by a doctor and depending on where you are the hospital might be the best option. Other possibilities include lung condition, viral illness or some inflammatory disorder. An examination will help sort this out. See dr. Good luck
