Osteomyelitis: is an infection of the bone. In this case the jawbone. If by some turn of events you have not yet been treated, see an Oraland Maxillofacial Surgeon (OMFS) right away. This type of infection will not just go away and in extreme cases may lead to serious disfigurement or even death. Please get treatment right away.
