A member asked:

Cataract: would an aspheric monocular iol typically be stable when placed or move around like multifocal and accommodating iol's can? thanks.

All R Stable: All IOLs are normally stable. We wish accommodative IOLs would move anterior to posterior and then back, but the process of healing cements them in place and they typically stop working over time Most IOLs micro-shake a little while healing, but it is a complication to actually move. Monofocal, multifocal and Toric IOLs are designed to stay in place for the rest of your life
