Probably OK: As you are improving (no pain), and if you have no new symptoms, or symptoms like fever, then OK to wait and see if this treatment ultimately resolves the infection. However, depending on other aspects of your health history, further evaluation of the bleeding might be recommended, to rule out causes other than infection.
