Yes, but uncommonly.: More commonly, the symptoms of high blood pressure (if they occur) include blurry vision, headaches, blood in the urine (urine discoloration), chest discomfort / pressure, throbbing / pounding in the ears. If you have an aneurysm, back pain or other neurologic symptoms may develop. The symptoms may be subtle. The best detection is a blood pressure monitor that you can pick up at any pharmacy.
