Please ask again: The question is incomplete as written. However, why would someone be falling asleep in an upright position? Please ask the question again, but worded differently. Meanwhile, consider sleep apnea and heart disease as possible disorders that may cause excessive sweating while sleeping.

Sleep standing HBP : Suspect you have obstructive sleep apnea if you are going to sleep standing. Sweating may be low sugar or BP gets too low. Happy to help.
