Pyelectasis: This is called fetal renal pyelectasis. It is quite common and usually not a cause for concern. Most likely your doctor will ask you to return for a follow up sonogram in a few weeks simply to monitor it. No further work up is typically done but you can confirm the plan with you treating Obgyn
