A member asked:

I am 13 weeks pregnant and every time we hear the baby's heartbeat it is in the middle of my pelvis behind my heartbeat. what does that mean?

No significance: exactly where your heartbeat is in relation to your baby's heartbeat does not really have much significance and can be completely normal so long as it is in your pelvis. as your pregnancy gets larger, the fetal cardiac motion will become more prominent and easier to detect and distinguish from your own heartbeat. Everything sounds about right here, best of luck.
