Whats the difference between iol cataract and phaco cataract operation which 1 is better and safer and why?

Same: Cataract surgery is most commonly performed with a high speed ultrasound device (phacoemusification). The iol (intraocular lens) is inserted to replace the cataract (clouded lens). Both are a part of cataract surgery.

Probably The same: I believe you mean cataract surgery with iol implantation vs. Phacoemulsification with iol implantation. Both surgeries remove the cataract, & both almost always involve replacing the cataractous lens with a predetermined iol. Now how the cataract is removed is almost always by phacoemulsification. Others might use a laser or even manually express the cataract. I prefer phaco-iol( small incision).
