Potentially: Technically speaking, once the cataract is removed, it never comes back. However, if the lens implant is not in a good position, additional surgery can be performed to reposition the lens.

Sort of: The cataract doesn't need to be removed again, since it doesn't come back. But if the iol is malpositioned it absolutely can be repositioned with additional surgery.
