Need 1000 mg: The correct dosage of azithromycin to treat chlamydia is 1000mg or 2 500mg tablets. You should not have given one of the tablets away. Need to contact prescribing physician and have correct dosage repeated.

Want to be sterile ?: The chlamydia germ can move into the Fallopian tube and scar them to the point you would have dangerous ectopic pregnancies or not work at all. You need to take the full dose 1000mg of azithromycin to cure it and quit giving away meds designed for you.As it is, you are not going to be cured and if you gave the other to your partner, they won't either.
