Cyst?: Is possible or ganglion but depends exactly where it is could also be joint related. Needs examination recommend seeing your GP.

Leave well alone: Observe the lump, it may just be a fatty tissue deposit or a ganglion (nerve clump). If this resolves there may be no need to be concerned If it becomes bigger or causes pain then seek a doctors opinion.

More information: You need to give us a lot more description to help us narrow this down. What size, colour, exactly where? Was it after an injury or spontaneous? Does it bleed or itch? Is it still there or gone now?
