Perhaps abscess: Have it looked at as it may need incision and drainage or referral for biopsy, imaging, lab test, follo-up, etc.

Nodes or abscess: There may be inflamed lymph nodes in your armpit. Maybe you have an underlying infection brewing and this is the beginning of an abscess. You will need a proper examination by a doctor to determine the cause and get the correct treatment

Infection likely: This sounds like a skin infection. It is a common problem to get recurrent infections in the armpit like this. One reason can be from from shaving the armpits which causes ingrown hairs. Once a cycle of infection gets set up it can be difficult to settle. You may require a course of antibiotics and physical exam to determine if a surgical consultation is needed.

Abscess/hiradenitis: Need to examine here to decide whether you have abscess, hiradenitis (a sweat gland problem with recurrent abscesses/cysts) or some other condition. Please see your GP to arrange. If you are registered with Te Kuiti they have 24h cover although may be expensive afterhours. Urgent attention is required if feverish.
