Sounds serious: at least potentially. Are these bumps at all tender? Any streaks up the arm? Lumps in armpits? Have you been bitten or scratched by any animal (especially cat) or insect? Any fever? You should see someone to find out what's going on, especially with the pain. It could get worse quickly and you would be in pain and without guidance. Good luck!
