See doctor : May just be the gland in the elbow becoming stimulated by the bite (reactive epitrochlear node) but safest is to have it looked at to check no infection or other more serious bite reaction. Spider bite: It's best to have a physician check your arm because of spreading pain. Other worrisome symptoms would include spreading redness, fever,chills, abdominal discomfort or swelling of the bite site.

Infection: There could be the risk of an infection developing at the site of the bite. You can try anti-inflammatories but if the pain does not resolve, see your doctor as you may need antibiotics
