Sampling: The pathologist who examined the FNA can only say what was in the sample provided, not what may not have been sampled in the procedure. Unfortunately the result you stated does not rule out cancer. You may wish to discuss it with your doctor and may include the pathologist in the discussion to ascertain if removal of the lymph nodes is warranted. Wish you good health!
