Might be: As the scoliosis and the surgery can affect muscle function and posture. But also need to consider lung and possibly heart or gallbladder. An examination by your GP would help start to tease all this out and decide whether needed any investigation. Good luck

Probably: You describe pain secondary to muscle movement most likely Scoliosis is basically deformity of the back that was corrected, but muscles might still go into spasm even when the back is corrected Check with your doctor please

Trapezius: Trapezius is the name of the muscle which connects your neck to the back and the shoulder blade. If it is occurring on the same side as your dominant hand it may well be muscular pain and if you have a scoliosis you may have a predisposition to this. People who use computers a lot often get this sort of pain (over-use type injury)

Musculoskeletal: The pain you are describing sounds musculoskeletal in nature however it is not easy to comment without a proper physical examination. Please see your doctor who can examine and carry out the necessary investigations. In the meantime you can trial anti inflammatories such as Nurofen or Voltaren to see if they ease the pain

Possibly: Sometimes the scapula (should blade) can be irritated by the underlying rods causing a sub scapular bursitis and subsequent pain. Having an irritation of a nerve in the neck can also cause similar symptoms. Don't hesitate to be seen.
