Show to your doctor: Lumps under the skin that are painless, slowly enlarge over time, and can be moved around (mobile) are likely to be a lipoma (fatty tumor) or cyst (sebaceous cyst for instance). Lumps at the surface of the skin can include moles and skin cancers. Any masses should be brought to the attention of your doctor. He/she can determine if it should be watched or treated by excision/biopsy.
