I over-used benzoyl peroxide & my face is bright red and dry, even after many hours. i need the redness to go away asap. what should i do?

Wait it out: This is going to happen with any of these products & the chemical burn you created must heal. Be sure you get all of it off with a moisturizing soap.You could try a mild (1/2% hydrocortisone cream thinly applied once or twice a day for itching/redness but you mostly have to let it heal.It will behave like a sunburn. Avoid the BP for a few weeks.
