Try cool compresses: and ibuprofen (Motrin/Advil). If the itchiness continues, you can try taking an antihistamine (Benadryl (diphenhydramine) (diphenhydramine) or Claritin or Zyrtec or Allegra). If it blisters or continues to be red and itchy, please see your doctor or a dermatologist. Also, be cautious if taking Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or Zyrtec; they can make you drowsy so you shouldn't drive while on them.
