Yes: So long as you didn't injure the underlying lung and you are feeling good then go for it. However you probably should avoid any activities that may cause you to fall or re-injure that area.

Yes: Hopefully you will tolerate the pain. Even if you cant if the lung underneath is otherwise ok (presumably this has been checked by the doctor) still important to have some gentle movement to aid recovery and reduce muscle stiffness - to the point of mild but not severe pain. You may find though you have to start slowly maybe try 9 holes first and then progress from there depending on how it is.
